Cyclist death on Redbourn Road

It is with a heavy heart that I read reports in the Herts Advertister and St Albans Review of a 57 year old cyclist from Redboun being killed on Redbourn road last night.

Full details are not yet available but the driver, a 27 year old man from St Albans was arrested (and subsequently bailed) on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

STACC is campaigning for a cycle route along Redbourn Road and for drivers to give cyclists space on the roads.
