Cycle Friendly Business Scheme

Worthing and Adur council has put together a new scheme to promote cycling via busineses. The scheme is free to join and provides a puncture repair kit, cycling maps etc for customers to use.

Members of the scheme will:

• Provide or signpost cyclists to storage or cycle parking facilities
• Offer a facility for the filling up of cyclist’s water bottles
• Offer the use of a puncture repair kit
• Provide visitor information including details of cycling in the area
• Provide drying facilities for cycling clothes (accommodation providers only)

 This sounds like a great idea which STACC will be looking at implementing locally.
