Lion Brand is a family owned and operated business and the oldest American hand-knitting yarn brand, established in 1878. That date should ring a (bicycle) bell for many cyclists - it is the year the CTC (Cyclists' Touring Club) was founded. I have completed a beautiful yellow saddle cover and amazingly, it fits my Brooks Professional saddle rather well. The point was to do some knitting, but it turns out to be functional as well, very comfy.
