Global Women's Cycling Day - 12 May

The CTC Five Miles to Fabulous crew are celebrating on SATURDAY 11 MAY with a ride from Harpenden to Redbourn.  Meet at Harpenden Station, near the ticket office, at 0930.  Coffee stop in Redbourn.  More details at http://www.southhertsctc.org.uk/Cycle/five-miles-to-fabulous

STACC are delighted to also be marking the day, on MONDAY 13 MAY.  Our friends at LUSH, the handmade skincare and cosmetics shop in the Maltings invite you to drop in between 5.30pm and 7.00pm, when an award-winning CTC ride leader will be promoting cycling for health and beauty.  As well as outlining the health and fitness benefits from 'normal, everyday' cycling, there will be information on local traffic-avoiding routes, tips on skills and simple maintenance.  If you have any female friends who want to cycle but feel a bit nervous, please recommend this event to them!
