Government THINK! cycling campaign misses the bigger picture | CTC

The government is spending £80,000 on a slightly flawed cycle safety campaign which got no support from cycling organisations.

£80,000 is a fifteenth of the budget for the motorcycle equivalent. The budget won't buy much TV advertising and will hardly fund much press advertising either.

Motorcycling has half cycling's share of journeys. Sounds like the usual lip service to me.
