Watch out for the sleepers at the track crossing on the Nickey Line nearest to the Redbourn roundabout - the sleepers are laid parallel to the line, not across it as is the case at other places where tracks cross the line.  As you can see, the sleepers are decaying along the grain, leading to wheel-catching 'tram lines'.  The Friends of the Nickey Line have drawn the hazard to the attention of the District Council, but ride with care meanwhile!
