Another guide on what to do if you're involved in a crash.

What to do in case of an accident - London Fixed-gear and Single-speed

It's pretty complete, but I would add:

Get photos of the crash scene if possible. Use your cameraphone if your phone has a camera, it ask bystanders to take photos. If possible do this before your bike or any vehicles are moved. At worst get a photo soon after.

If you are a CTC member you will be covered by the free CTC legal advice and solicitors. I have used them with very satisfactory results. Get in touch asap.

Don't forget any lingering mental impacts such as flashbacks, nightmares etc, these may be chargable but do not fabricate evidence.

Please tell STACC about the crash so that we can give you some support (if you want it) but also so that STACC can track crashes and action any hotspots with the council/Herts highways. This is important so that we can build up a good picture of what's going on.
