The Ride's leader, Doug reports an excellent turnout of keen riders. He says...
I had a party of 19, including 5 families with 7 children between them under 9 years of age, including Rona with Isobel on the trailer. With so many children I proposed a change, to go to Hatfield House (Park) - along the Alban Way - where there's an adventure playground and good facilities, making a shorter journey for a hot day, but they were having none of it and insisted on tackling the scheduled ride - which they accomplished admirably, if a bit slower than planned. A beautiful day for the event though, giving much satisfaction. Unfortunately no-one had a camera. They've all threatened to come again!!! Tapped a bit of membership potential.
Walks and More is still a major pull but the website and Tom's e-mails equally provide custom; maybe the future is with the Blog?
