The water main replacement works now on Avenue Road are expected to reach the footbridge link on 30 September, and the link is programmed to be closed for 6 weeks. You can read more about the works on the hertsdirect website. The works team have been making good progress, they are ahead of the initial programme listed on hertsdirect.

I am interested to see what pedestrian diversion will be signed. On option is the footbridge to York Road, further down Lemsford Road towards the station. There are steps on that route however.
